UKTi in Prtugal are holding a Meet the Buyer Event in the Algarve, on Thursday 19th & Friday 20th February 2009. Site visits are arranged for the first day of the roadshow with a Meet the Buyer event arranged forFriday to which all the main distributors from Algarve and Lisbon have been invited.

Should you be aware of any potential company interested in attending this Food & Drink Roadshow please feel free to forward them this information. Through a £500 Omis UK companies will benefit from Site visits in the first day and a second day of one to one meetings with the main Portuguese distributors.

The cost of the event is £500 which also includes 1 nights accomodation.

Company Meetings
The company meetings will take place on Friday 20 February. Companies can expect to have 5-8 individual meetings each.

Site Visits
On afternoon of Thursday 18 February companies will visit Apolonia, the leading supermarket in the Algarve with branches in Almancil and Guia which stocks a very high percentage of UK products. An additional 1-2 supermarkets, which are to be confirmed later, will also be visited in addition to 'Sindal' who are a leading importer of well-known UK brands.
