SEMINAR ON TOTAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE - The Japan Institute for Plant Maintenance (JIPM) Model

In conjunction with Industry Forum 22nd May 2009 9am - 1pm Partnership for Learning, Halewood

The JIPM Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) model is globally accepted to be a framework for an “ideal” manufacturing
system, focused on zero accidents, zero defects and zero breakdowns and is applicable across all sectors of
industry.

For successful implementation, experience has shown that all employees, from top management to the shop floor have to be involved to drive culture change and realise the full benefits.

The objective of this seminar is to give delegates an overview of the JIPM TPM model, the structure of the requirement, the stepped approach to implementation and the award process. There will also be the opportunity for your company to join a TPM Network which the NAA will be facilitating.

Speakers will include senior persons from JIPM and Industry Forum who have a wealth of experience in the application and assessment of TPM across a wide range of industries. There will be ample time for questions

“Total productive maintenance or TPM is a proven way to reduce costs and improve quality in your organisation. The aims of TPM are to maximise the effectiveness of all production equipment and can be adapted to work not only in industrial plants, but in construction, building maintenance, transportation, and in a variety of other situations” Niall Ford, TPM Champion, Jaguar Land Rover (Halewood Operations)
