TASTE Northwest – Sustainable Local Food Tourism Programme Briefing Meeting

NWDA are looking to invest in a Sustainable Local Food Growth Programme through RDPE.  In order to facilitate the development of this programme NWDA are holding a market test or briefing meeting on the proposal to establish the market need, potential delivery mechanisms and next steps.

The meeting will cover the background to the proposal, what is being looked for in terms of delivery and whether there is the market need.  It will enable delivery agents and stakeholders to get involved in influencing this programme (tentative value to the region of £1.5m) prior to the issue of tender contract(s) and what the next steps are in getting a finalised programme into the market place.

The meeting will be held at in the Winter Hill Room, Red Rose Hub , Brian Johnson Way, Off Bluebell Way, Preston , PR2 5PZ on Thursday, 14 May 2009 starting promptly at 10.00 a.m.    Tea and Coffee will be available before and after the meeting in the main cafeteria.
