WORKSHOP – PERCEPTIONS OF CLIMATE CHANGE

This information is sent out on behalf of regeneration consultants URS Corporation Ltd, who are working with the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) to assess Perceptions of Climate Change across the region. The NWDA are particularly interested in whether businesses are adapting and preparing themselves for things such as extreme weather conditions and if businesses report any barriers to adapting, for example a lack of information or cost.
As one of the NWDA’s priority sectors - we feel it is important that the Food and Drink sector help and contribute to this research , which will help inform the regional Climate Change Action Plan, and would encourage you to attend or send a representative to one of the following two workshops:
Tuesday 23rd June
Britannia Hotel, Portland Street, Manchester, M1 3LA (breakfast served from 8.15am, with the workshop running from 8.30 - 9.30am )
Tuesday 23rd June :
The Liner Hotel, Lord Nelson Street, Liverpool, L3 5QB (buffet lunch served from 12:15, with the workshop running from 12:45 - 1:45pm )
