Food & Drink Market Visit to: A Taste of Britain COPENHAGEN
23 – 24 March 2011
UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) Northwest are organising a market visit to Taste of Britain 2011 in Denmark. With the support of the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), UKTI are inviting northwest food and drink businesses to join this mission.
A select number of UK exhibitors will be given the opportunity to:
- Gain an insight into the opportunities in the food & drink sector in Denmark
- Meet potential buyers and distributors of their products
- Visit leading retail stores in the Copenhagen area
Why Denmark?
- Easy access to market logistically and similarity between our cultures.
- Denmark can serve as a gateway to the other Scandinavian countries.
- British food and drink companies have an outstanding reputation for supplying innovative and quality products.
Costs of Participation
The programme package will cost £500 and will be charged through UKTI’s Overseas Market Introduction Service. It is the responsibility of the individual company to cover the travel & accommodation costs.
Cost includes:
- Networking dinner with experienced contacts
- Exhibition space and equipment
- Visit to several retail stores
- Opportunity to demonstrate company products & network with a wide range of potential distributors & buyers from the main leading retail stores.
What else is included?
- UKTI Denmark will produce a mini-brochure describing what each exhibitor has to offer which will be sent by email with an advance invitation to Danish distributors and buyers from all over Denmark.
- UK participants will each have a table-top display and chairs to hold meetings, and are welcome to bring a pop-up display and samples.
- Networking dinner, lunch and refreshments
- Advice, translation and support from the local Embassy staff.
