Support activities include:

• Food and Drink Business Advice - Based on a diagnostic of your business and an understanding of your business needs, one of our business advisers, experienced in the food and drink sector, will assist in the drawing up of an action plan to accelerate your business growth. Built on identified training and business development needs and through a series of progressive advice and guidance meeting and monitoring sessions, the Cumbria Chamber of Commerce will assist in developing your food and drink business to a point of measurable growth.
• Focused on Food and Drink Skills Training/Workshop Sessions - A unique opportunity for employers to access a wide range of food and drink based workshop, training and skills development sessions. Specifically tailored to suit the food and drink sector these sessions aim to develop key areas related to strategically important business activity and future retail growth.
• Food and Drink Information and Network Events - Providing a platform to hear more on issues relevant to the food and drink sector and the opportunity to network with other food and drink businesses, potentially developing new business opportunities. Gain insight from other similar businesses and relevant experts, who have had similar problems and experiences, and hear about other initiatives aimed at helping local food and drink sector businesses develop and grow.

In addition, these sessions provide a unique opportunity to discuss pertinent local topics and offer the chance to collaborate and drive relevant local solutions.
