South Lakeland Business 2 Business Entrepreneur of the Year Scooped by Hawkshead Relish’s Maria & Mark Whitehead

Maria & Mark Whitehead were delighted to be presented with the coveted award at an illustrious event organised in conjunction with South Lakeland District Council, Cumbria Chamber of Commerce and Cumbria Rural Enterprise Agency on Thursday 13^th Nov at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal, beating off stern opposition from some of the Counties most prominent small businesses.

Hawkshead Relish are producers of the multi award winning range of artisan preserves holding over 35 ‘Great Taste Awards’ and previously named ‘Speciality Producer of the Year’.

The award recognised the achievements of the company as well as the provision of local employment and supporting the community as a whole.
