Cheshire & Warrington
Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP)

Board Appointments
Cheshire and Warrington has one of the most vibrant economies in the UK and we want to unleash its true potential. To that end, and following extensive consultation with the economic stakeholders in Cheshire and Warrington this summer, an application was submitted to the Government for the formation of a Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) for the Cheshire and Warrington sub-region. That submission seems to have been well received and it is proposed to proceed as quickly as possible with the setting up of the LEP.
The Board will be predominantly private sector and applications are invited to apply for Category 2 and 3 membership representing the private, voluntary and education sectors.
Applications are sought from people with a genuine interest in the economic wellbeing of the Cheshire and Warrington sub-region, the willingness to commit and the time to give to the Board.
Further information on these roles is available at: www.cwec.org.uk/LEP-appointments .
Submissions should be made by email to joan.thompson@cwec.org.uk , or in writing to ILB Appointments, CWEC, Dalton House, Dalton Way, Middlewich, Cheshire CW10 0HU. Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 19th November 2010 .
