Food NW Supply Chain Project - Invitation to Tender

The Food NW Supply Chain Project aims to improve the overall competitiveness of Northwest Food and Drink businesses by establishing world class sustainable and collaborating supply chains.

The project has been designed to reduce waste in four priority NW Food and Drink supply chains and deliver considerable efficiency savings. It will draw upon experience gained in similar projects across automotive and aerospace supply chains. The four sub-sectors include Dairy, Red Meat, Brewing and Bakery.

Food NW aims to help businesses in the sector maximise their economic potential and increase productivity and output. As our Board members include representatives from the region’s major food & drink manufacturers, Food NW is well-placed to lead ground-breaking work to promote and implement integrated supply chain improvement programmes.

The aims of this project are to:

Food NW will have operational responsibility and act as accountable body for this project and will procure an experienced supply chain professional to manage the project.
