Great Taste Award Victory for Kendal Jacksmiths

Cumbria-based Kendal Jacksmiths had a triumphant night at the recent Great Taste Awards – winning ‘Speciality Producer of the Year’.

This year’s Great Taste Awards have been a great success for the Jacksmiths, with their flapjacks picking up a total of fourteen stars.

These multi-award winning flapjacks are handmade in small batches by Liz Berners-Lee from only the finest natural ingredients, available in ten different flavours. The winners were announced after a marathon three-hour final judging session where the 14-member jury – which included restaurant critic Charles Campion and Sunday Times Style food columnist Lucas Hollweg – chose all this year’s major award winners from around 40 finalists.
