Hawkshead Relish Finalist for IOD Northwest Director of the Year 2009
Maria Whitehead co-owner and Director of the Hawkshead Relish Company has been announced as a finalist for IOD North West Director of the Year.
Maria with her husband Mark (Co-Director) founded The Hawkshead Relish Company to produce award winning artisan preserves, over 9 years ago. A small Lakeland based business, they are passionate about creating unique and distinctive culinary creations with the promotion of all things local at their heart.
Maria has already been awarded the coveted accolade of ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ from South Lakeland Business2Business this year with the company also being finalists in 4 categories at the FoodNW Awards 2009. The awards final will be held on the 7th October at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester.
