Hawkshead Relish shortlisted for top regional awards

Hawkshead Relish have been confirmed as finalists in the CN Group Business Awards 2009 for Small Business of the Year and Exporter of the Year .

Joining a host of formidable competition from across Cumbria, Hawkshead Relish are the only Food Producers featuring in this year’s award categories.

Judges John Grainger, MD of Invest in Cumbria, Simon Sjenitzer, strategy director of Cumbria Vision and Allan Haile, head of economic development for Cumbria County Council, have sifted through a record number of entries to come up with their list of nominations.

The finalists come from every corner of the county and from sectors ranging from nuclear engineering to hairdressing.

Winners will be announced at a gala celebration evening at the Rheged Discovery Centre, Penrith, on the 22nd October, with guest speaker Shadow Chancellor George Osborne.
