The Pie's The Limit For NW Pie Makers!
Several of the region’s best pie makers have been recognised at the British Pie Awards 2010.
The judging took place in Melton Mowbray – regarded by many as the pie capital – in May, and were hosted by the Melton Mowbray Pie Association.
But as many of the Northwest winners proved, it wasn’t all pork pies.
Congratulations to all from the region that were recognised for their outstanding pies:

Champion: Steak and Potato Pie produced by JW Mettrick & Son for Glossop North End
