The Northwest Tastes Great!
Producers from the Northwest have triumphed at this year’s Great Taste Awards – with nearly a hundred products being awarded one, two or three gold stars.
Four Northwest products, all from Cumbria, have won the highly coveted Three Gold Stars Awards:
- The Multi Muddee – More? The Artisan Bakery
- Sticky Toffee Sauce – Cumbrian Delight
- Date & Molasses Flapjack – Kendal Jacksmith
- Lemon & Ginger Flapjack – Kendal Jacksmith
Over 6,000 products were entered this year by 1,300 companies and each one was judged by at least three panels of experts including chefs, food writers and buyers.
