HAIRY BIKERS COME TO JOSEPH HELER CHEESE

Monday August 24th, BBC2, 5.15pm

It was hairnets and beard snoods all round as staff at Joseph Heler Cheese welcomed The Hairy Bikers to the creamery. TV cooks, Dave Myers and Simon King, were on a tour of Cheshire, filming for their new BBC TV series taking in the sights, sounds and tastes of each county in Britain.

Their visit to Joseph Heler was part of the focus on Cheshire and its famous Cheshire Cheese. They arrived in style on their trademark two-wheels and after meeting the team had a good look at the cheesemaking process from start to finish.  The bikers saw the dairy’s herd of award-winning cows, including champion Clarissa, and even tried out the mattresses that the cows sleep on!

Helers were delighted to welcome the Hairy Bikers Simon King and Dave Myers to their Creamery whilst filming for their new series The Hairy Bikers Food Tour of Britain.

The series will start broadcasting on Monday August 24th, BBC2, 5.15pm.

Joseph Heler cheese feature on Thursday 27th August programme.

Every night of the week for six weeks!!
