Environmental Solutions Workshops

Building on previous Food Waste Solutions events, this year’s event will not only include presentations from leading industry players, but will also run themed workshops covering a range of environmental solutions, from water usage to issues associated with packaging.
A partnership between Food NW and Envirolink Northwest, and sponsored by Envirowise, the event will continue to provide an opportunity to meet professionals from the food and drink manufacturing industry as well as experts from the environmental technology sector and academia.
Delegates are encouraged to attend two of the workshops one in the morning and one in the afternoon sessions.

Advanced Retail Negotiation and Sales Techniques

This is a fast paced Master Class Workshop that is aimed at SME business owners, Senior Managers, Account Managers and individuals that have responsibility for managing corporate accounts.
There is currently funding available to pay for this course in full, until the end of March 2009.
Course Aims:

Selling food and drink products particularly to large retailers is one of the most challenging sales tasks there is in a market where space is the premium.

By the end of this workshop delegates will be clear on the sales approaches that will win and build a sustainable outcome for both parties from the negotiation process.

They will understand not just why it is important to embrace the customer culture and language but also how to do it so effectively.
