Welcome to Cheshire
Think of Cheshire produce and you automatically think of the world famous Cheshire Cheese, but the county offers so much more to tempt your palate...
The county has a history of dairy farming and the rich creamy milk is perfect for ice cream and yoghurt making. Several ice cream farms make a staggering range of flavours including Boddingtons Beer, Baileys, Raspberry Pavlova, Banoffi Pie and of course seasonal specialities such as Christmas Pudding.
Cheshire cheese comes in a range of colours - the traditional tangy, salty white, crumbly red and making a welcome return is the richly veined blue Cheshire which is proving popular with cheese experts everywhere. Look elsewhere in the county and you will find goats, buffalo and ewes milk in delicious brie style cheeses.
